Timber Barn & Garage Doors – Built to Last, Made to Fit

At Redmire, we design and manufacture premium timber barn doors and garage doors, available both as part of our buildings and for individual sale. Whether you’re constructing a new build or upgrading an existing structure, our doors are crafted to deliver strength, security, and traditional style.

Standard Sizes or Bespoke Made-to-Measure

We offer a bespoke manufacturing service, creating doors to your precise dimensions. However, we also keep a stock of standard-sized doors, ranging from 1.8m to 2.4m wide and 2.1m high—ideal for most barn or garage setups.

Each door is constructed from slow-grown, pressure-treated redwood, ensuring excellent durability and longevity in all weather conditions. Our ironmongery is hot-dip galvanised as standard to resist corrosion and wear.

Hinged Doors

Our hinged doors are fitted with heavy-duty ironmongery to withstand regular, long-term use. Choose from:

  • 24″ (600mm) Heavy Tee Hinges
  • Cranked Hook & Band Hinges
  • Reversible Hinges

Each pair of doors is secured with a robust hardware setup, including:

  • Upper spring bolt
  • Lower drop bolt
  • Lockable Brenton bolt
  • Cabin hooks to hold doors open

Sliding Doors

For larger openings or a space-saving solution, our sliding barn doors offer a smooth and secure alternative. They’re mounted on 250kg-rated, British-made sliding rails with bearing-assisted rollers, two per door. Every door features:

  • Corrosion-resistant nylon guides
  • Precision-pressed external handles
  • Heavy-duty staple and hasp for padlocking

Lower tracking can also be installed upon request, though it may be more prone to debris build-up over time.
