Cladding
16 x 120mm overlap shiplap fixed with 38mm triple life sheridized ring-shank nails. Rainwater skirt fitted to all backs and end walls to prevent water ingression at base of partitions.
Framework
All outer walls constructed of 75 x 47mm sawn timber with vertical studwork at approx 600mm centres.
Internal stabling constructed of 75 x 47mm sawn timber.
Double uprights (94 x 75mm) at either side of all door openings. Door aperture height is 2.280m not including single course of brickwork on internal partitions and exterior doorways
Internal stables fronts & middle partitions
Same construction as framework specification above, with additional 100 x 47mm timber fitted to top rail / framework.
Fitted with 1.2m x 0.760m or 1.8m x 0.760m galvanised talkgrille dependant on partition length.
One bottom door only; see door specification listed below.
Fixing To Base
Bolted to base by galvanised strapping at approximately 1.2m centre’s directly into concrete base. Further brackets used both sides of all door apertures.
Door Frames & Openings.
Stable door-opening width – 1100mm. Tack / Feed room – 810mm. Hinged barn door openings 2100mm or 2400mm.
Internal Lining
Stables are kick-boarded to 1.22m high as standard with 12mm exterior grade plywood. Dividing partitions are also lined in 12mm plywood to eaves height (2.4m) on the one side. All plywood finished with golden brown treatment. Internal treatment subject to alteration.
Windows (top doors to side elevations are optional)
One per stable on side elevation as standard. 600 x 600 x 4mm sliding Perspex window. Three timber bars fitted to inside of window opening.
Doors (Stabling)
1.1m x 1.270m x 56mm fitted with the following:
• Clad with 150 x 19mm V jointed tongue & grooved planed timber
• 200 x 25mm ledged & braced framework
• All ironmongery is hot dipped galvanized
• All chew strips manufactured with 15mm diameter rounded corners
• 600mm heavy duty Tee hinges
• 50mm chew strip to top of bottom door
• Lined internally with 9mm exterior grade plywood
• 200mm brenton bolt to bottom door
• Kick-over latch
• 150mm cabin hook
Internal Tack Room doors
810mm wide x 2.130m high
• Clad with 150 x 19mm V jointed tongue & grooved planed timber
• 200 x 25mm ledged & braced framework
• All ironmongery hot dipped galvanized
• Three 450mm heavy duty tee hinges
• One 150mm brenton bolt
• One 150mm cabin hook
• Outward opening
Outer end doors (hinged, non sliding) on both end elevations
2100 or 2400mm wide by 2.36m high (inc single brick course of 80mm)
• Clad with 150 x 22mm V jointed tongue & grooved planed timber
• 200 x 25mm ledged & braced framework
• All ironmongery hot dipped galvanised
• Six 600mm heavy duty Tee hinges per set of doors
• One 200mm brenton bolt
• Glass viewing panel not fitted
• Two 150mm cabin hooks per set of doors
• Securing inside of door set - 150mm top spring bolt with 300mm heavy-duty floor bolt drilled into concrete. Drip rail fitted above end doors.
Roofing Structure
Two gable end vents at each end.
Trusses fixed to partitions by way of 100mm or 150mm timber-lock screws
Ridge height is 4m not inc single course of brickwork.
Internal height clearance under centre truss is 3m ( not inc bricks) see elevation drawings for further details.
The sawn purlins are 150 x 47mm to 125 x 47mm dependent on length of stables contained within building. Trusses constructed of 75 x 47mm and 150 x 47mm sawn timbers. Entire roof fitted with 9mm or 11mm OSB boarding over purlins.

Roofing Finishes
Standard roofing finish is Black Corrugated Onduline with Galvanized steel ridges. Alternative colours are available at an additional cost. P6 corrugated cement inc. alternative colours is also available at additional cost.
One clear roof sheet fitted per internal stable as standard in matching profile.
Guttering
112mm black Upvc gutters fitted with 68mm down pipes to both side elevations.
Tack Rooms / Feed Rooms
Fitted in place of one internal stable if requested. Please refer to price list
Front partition contained one personal door 2.130 x 810mm and no window.
Flat roof above constructed of 125 x 47mm joists at 400mm centre’s held by joist hangers and lined over with 15mm OSB boarding.
All partitions for internal tack / feed rooms supplied unlined. Refer to price list for costs of full lining.
Treatment – Exterior Finish
All timbers with exception of any sheet material are vacuum pressure impregnated treated with permawood 1704 preservative manufactured to BS8417 table 9. Standard colour finish (light green) is indicated within the relevant brochure.
Installations
The Haven range has an advantage of a significant amount of pre-manufacturing before delivery to site. A two-day break is recommended before subsequent contractors are allowed to fit other services. All installation schedules are estimated. Due to our competitive pricing policy of the Haven Range, these buildings are only available within certain areas.
