Softwood TGV barn doors can be fitted to most buildings. They range from 1.8m wide to 2.4m. The height is 2.130m when fitted to a standard building. These can be stained and/or fitted with different types of hinges.

Most doors can be delivered on a supply only basis within two weeks from point of ordering.

We can manufacture various sizes of doors. Shown above is a typical bottom stable door used for internal stabling.

Stable conversion kits are a quick and effective way to convert your Mobile Field Shelter into a stable. The kit includes a window and all the ironmongery found on a standard stable.

FLB door Softwood TGV door

FLB softwood tackroom door. These doors are fitted with brass butt hinges and a mortice lock supplied with two keys. They are stained golden brown prior to leaving the factory, but can be painted to your preferred colour after fitting.A hardwood version is fitted to our Goodwood Range. The door shown above is offered as an optional extra with the Hunter Range.

Tackroom doors on the Haven Range are fitted with three 24" (600) heavy duty "T" hinges. Brenton bolts and cabin hooks are standard.Hunter Range doors are fitted with 24" (600) hook and band hinges. A standard Tack or Feed Room door is 32" (810mm) wide. These can be made to your exact requirements.

Hardwood garage doors can be supplied in various sizes. They are fitted with heavy reversable cup hinges and a night latch lock. Two galvanised pull handles are fitted. The Idigbo hardwood timber can be stained in various colours, but is delivered to you treated in a light golden colour as indicated in the above picture.

The standard sizes are 2.1 or 2.4m wide. Heights can be 2.20m or 2.130m. The thickness of the door is 45mm.

Metal gates are most commonly found on Mobile Field Shelters, but can be fitted to other buildings. The most common size is 7ft (2.1m).

Wooden gates can be supplied and fitted but often suffer from chewing. Some protection can be afforded by adding a chewstrip to the top rail, but as horses often chew lower down the gate the metal gate offers the strongest option.

Boarding a metal gate is an option to provide further protection from the wind. This is done by adding plywood to the rear of the gate. All of our gates are fitted or supplied with a large gate hook latch to secure the gate back against the building when open.

Sliding barn doors are fitted to either end of American Barns. Viewing windows are provided in each door and can be designed and manufactured for all building applications.

This stable door is fitted with 24" (600mm) reversable cup hinges and a 24" (600mm) extra deep chewstrip to the front. This prevents the chewing of the door on the front. Also shown is the door frame protection to prevent your horse from chewing the sides of the doorway.

Stable doors on the Hunter Range are fitted with hook and band hinges as shown above. All stable doors are supplied with brenton bolts, kickover latches,cabin hooks and chewstrips.

All ironmongery is hot dipped galvanised.

Haven Range stables are supplied with a standard stable door fitted with 24" (600mm) heavy Duty "T" hinges. Brenton bolts, kickover latches and cabin hooks all feature as standard.

Part Louvred Window                   Hopper Window inc internal grill

Hopper window including internal grill (above right) is 1000mm wide x 1030mm high. These windows can be made in various sizes with matching internal grills.

Part louvred window (above left) is fitted to our Hunter Range stables. The acrylic window is protected from the horse on the inside by a 50mm mesh grill.
